3D structure of inward rectifier potassium channel KirBac1.1 from burkholderia pseudomallei in the closed state was obtained by X-ray crystallography (PDB ID: 1P7B)(Science, 300, 1922-1926, 2003).All other K+ channel structures to date have been open.

This model is human inward rectifier potassium channel Kir1.1 constructed by FAMS Ligand&Complex based on 1P7B.

Sequence alignment between target human Kir1.1 and reference KirBac1.1 shown in Science (Science, 300, 1922-1926, 2003) was used in modeling.
